(VOVworld) - A trade fair promoting the Mekong River Delta’s rice, fruits, and seafood, opened Sunday in the southern province of Soc Trang within the framework of the 2014 Mekong Delta Economic Cooperation Forum scheduled for this week.

Tran Thanh Nghiep is Deputy Chairman of the Soc Trang provincial People’s Committee and head of the event’s organizing board: “This fair offers us an opportunity to explore the development of the value chain of agricultural products from different regions.
