(VOVworld) – The Malaysian cabinet on Wednesday approved the establishment of an independent international committee to investigate the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.
Addressing a press conference in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, Acting Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the main task of the committee is to evaluate, probe, and determine the actual cause for the incident to avoid future similar events. Hishammuddin said the Malaysian government is discussing with the national oil and gas group Malaysia Petronas and some other organizations to expand the search areas in the Southern Indian Ocean.
Almost 50 days have passed since Malaysian Airlines announced the mysterious disappearance of MH370 plane with 227 passengers and 12 crew members. Although the Malaysian government and many other countries have maximized resources for the biggest-ever and most expensive searching campaign in the world aviation history, all clues have become no use for specifying the plane location.
