(VOVworld) – The authorities and armed forces in Soc Trang province have organized various activities to enhance the relationship between the soldiers and ordinary people. They have visited and presented gifts to soldiers, their families, and poor Khmer people in the province and organized art performances to entertain the soldiers and people to welcome the lunar New Year.

Hai Duong province spent 23 billion VND on gifts for social beneficiary families. 66,200 Tet gifts will be given to families of martyrs, national contributors, sick soldiers, soldiers on duty in islands, and disadvantaged families.
Kon Tum province has allocated 4.5 billion VND to support 17,900 poor and near-poor families to celebrate Tet.
