(VOVworld) - The Liberian army on Monday put Lofa, a third province, under quarantine to monitor the spread of the deadly Ebola virus. President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf said in a national radio broadcast that from this moment on, no one will be allowed to go to or leave Lofa. Sirleaf ordered the army to monitor the quarantine and pledged efforts to provide sufficient food to Lofa, one of Liberia’s largest provinces. The two provinces quarantined earlier are Boma and Grand Cape Mount.
