National Assembly deputies approve with 94% of votes for to extend exemption of agricultural land use tax until 2025.

The incentive is direct support for agricultural modernization, organizations and individuals to expand production and improve product quality. Continued tax exemption for agricultural land use institutionalizes the Party and State guidelines on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas, in line with the 5-year strategy on national socio-economic development, and the master plan on agricultural development.

The same day, the National Assembly discussed the draft law on Vietnamese guest workers. The deputies agreed that the law should strengthen state management, enable businesses to send workers abroad, and improve the quality of Vietnamese human resources. Deputies also debated the revised Law on Handling of Administrative Violations.
