They reviewed the implementation of the socio-economic development and state budget plans in the first months of 2018 as well as the state budget balance in 2016. They applauded the government efforts to sustain high growth rate and called for solutions to stabilize the macro economy, control inflation, promote economic growth and exports. In a Q and A session with deputies, Minister of Industry and Trade, Tran Tuan Anh, praised 8 commodities with export revenue beyond 8 billion dollars and 18 export items with over 1 billion dollars of revenue each: “Export structure has positively changed towards less dependent on raw materials and mining while processed aquaculture and agricultural products have been improved. Vietnamese exports have been marketed in more than 200 countries and economies in the world.”
