She asked the unit to monitor, anticipate, accurately assess different scenarios in a proactive and timely manner, and leave no room for error. Ms. Xuan stressed the need to ensure safety at both national and local-level political events and to be prepared against non-traditional security challenges.
Also at the meeting, Vice President Xuan presented Tet gifts to those who have rendered service to the nation and policy beneficiaries in the locality. She urged the military command to continue implementing local social welfare policies, building new rural areas, reducing poverty, eliminating temporary and dilapidated housing, addressing natural disasters, and engaging in search and rescue operations. By doing so, the military will further strengthen their bond and solidarity with the people, she said.
Also on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha visited and extended Lunar New Year greetings to Binh Duong province’s authorities, soldiers, and people. He said the Party and State will proceed with institutional reforms, build a service-oriented administration, and mobilize social resources to develop infrastructure.
The government is committed to promoting sustainable poverty reduction policies, improving people’s livelihoods and living conditions, and enhancing social welfare, he added. Mr. Ha urged Binh Duong province to focus on developing social housing, cultural institutions, and healthcare and education services for its workers.
The Deputy Prime Minister presented 700 packages of Tet gifts to workers and individuals with difficult circumstances in the province.
