(VOVworld) – The Youth Union of Lam Dong province has opened Year of Young Volunteers, focusing on campaigns to engage the young in building new rural areas and cultural lifestyles in residential areas, and assist young people in career startup.

The Youth Union aims to create breakthroughs in youth volunteer campaigns for community life and social security. After the launch on Sunday, 2,000 Youth Union members began various social activities such as donating blood, cleaning up the environment, planting trees, and providing free medical checks, health consultations, and medicines for the poor.
Some enterprises assisted the Youth Union’s charitable program by donating 10 houses to disadvantaged people.
