Russia will not publicly discuss the content of documents on any settlement in Ukraine, Peskov said, adding that negotiations will be held in private.

He also said Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to speak to US President Donald Trump.

The Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko and Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin discussed the Ukrainian conflict settlement and preparations for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
