“Journey of Compassion - Sharing Love” program supports disadvantaged people in Dien Bien, Son La

(VOVWORLD) - People in difficult circumstances in Dien Bien and Son La provinces were given free medical examinations, medicine, and gift on Saturday as part of the "Journey of Compassion - Sharing Love" program initiated by the Vietnam Red Cross Society in response to National Humanitarian Month 2024. 
“Journey of Compassion - Sharing Love” program supports disadvantaged people in Dien Bien, Son La - ảnh 1Health check-ups are performed for people in Dien Bien province. 

The activities were conducted in Muong Ang district by Hong Ngoc Hospital; in Dien Bien Dong district by Military Hospital 105; and in Dien Bien Phu city by Saigon Eye Hospital.

Beneficiaries in Son La province included 700 poor or nearly-poor people, policy beneficiaries, elderly people, national devotees, and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in Thuan Chau district.

The Red Cross also handed a charity house to a poor family in the district.
