Zarif said the negotiation has come to its final stages and that although there are “very complicated” issues remaining, signs are still positive. Zarif said Iranian negotiators will stay in Lausanne until an agreement is signed.
Kerry said the negotiators are pushing through tough issues and have made progress towards an end-of-March deadline closing in. An official from the US Treasury Department said the US administration will work with Congress on additional sanctions Iran if no deal is reached in Lausanne.
