Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida conveyed Japan's views on the issue at a meeting with his Laotian counterpart Saleumxay Kommasith on the sidelines of AMM 49 in Laos’s capital Vientiane.

Kishida called for a peaceful settlement and compliance with international law.
