Mr. Yamaguchi said the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is important for Vietnam’s development in the new era.
He said: "The Communist party of Vietnam holds a pivotal position in shaping a new stage of development, particularly in education, infrastructure, and human resource training. In the current context, strengthening training in information technology and artificial intelligence is especially important, alongside economic development. In these areas, Japan and Vietnam have a strong potential for effective cooperation. Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam have a close relationship. They should continue to work closely together."
Mr. Yamaguchi said he hopes to establish a shared perspective with the new leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and contribute jointly to peace and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
