(VOVworld)- Japan on Friday named 158 uninhabited small islets belonging to an island group in the East China Sea, as part of efforts to reinforce its sovereignty claim. Those small isles are all in the Japan economic exclusive zone and the Japan’s naming those isles will not change the borderline on sea.
The five among 158 islands that were named are part of the group in the East China Sea known as the Senkaku in Japanese and the Diaoyu in Chinese. Name of 158 islets will be published on a website of the Japanese maritime policy department and printed in Japan new map.
