- Italy is willing to support Vietnam in training and improving professional skills for Vietnam’s traffic police force. Vice Director of the National Traffic Police Bureau of Italy Santo Puccia made the statement during his reception for a Vietnamese delegation of the Ministry of Public Security’s General Police Department of Administrative and Social Order Management led by General Director Lieutenant General To Thuong in Rome on Monday.

Puccia said Italy can help train Vietnamese traffic police in managing and patrolling roads and coordinating with other agencies to solve traffic-related incidents. He added that the Italian police are willing to help Vietnamese police in applying advanced technologies to monitor key roads and establish round-the-clock emergency intervention and information processing centers. Lieutenant General To Thuong expressed his hope that Italy will continue to provide support to Vietnam in the future.
