(VOV) - The Vietnam-Italy Business and Investment Forum was held in Florence, the capital city of the Tuscany region on Sunday. Addressing the forum, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga encouraged businesses to help strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations, especially in the areas of economics, trade, investment, and tourism. She said that with its political stability and open investment environment, Vietnam is an attractive and reliable destination for investors.

Earlier, Deputy Minister Nga paid a courtesy visit to Enrico Rossi, President of the Tuscany region. The two sides agreed to accelerate the activities of the Vietnam Office at the region’s Trade and Investment Promotion Agency to create favorable conditions for businesses to invest in each other’s country.
