Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will carry out military operations until all hostages being held by Hamas are released.

According to the Palestinian health agency in Gaza, Israeli air strikes during the day killed 24 people in the Jabalia refugee camp area and many people are still buried in the rubble.

Witnesses said Israel continues bombing the Bani Suhaila area east of Khan Younis city, Gaza's second largest city.
