(VOVworld) – Libya’s LANA news agency said on Saturday that the Islamic State executed 34 people in a fight to gain control of the coastal city of Sirte.

Earlier, Libya’s Ambassador to France, Chibani Abuhamoud, said that fighting in Sirte had left between 150 and 200 dead. He said that a real massacre is taking place, calling on the international community to intervene.
