IS confirms death of second-in-command in US airstrike

(VOVworld) – The Islamic State confirmed the death of a senior commander on Tuesday. An IS spokesman said that Abu Mutaz al-Qurashi was killed in a targeted airstrike. US officials previously said Qurashi was killed on August 18, 2015, in Mosul, Iraq.
