(VOVworld) – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that if US leaders wanted to break the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or the nuclear deal, Iran would retaliate.

Ayatollah said that the US has not implemented its commitment to remove the sanctions against Iran or lift its ban on Iran’s banking transaction with the world, which prevented Iran from taking back its revenue from petroleum and capital resources from other countries. The Iranian Supreme leader said Tehran has taken the preliminary steps by suspending 20 percent uranium enrichment and shut down the Fordow and Arak reactors.
