(VOVWORLD) - Iran has rejected Israel’s accusation that Tehran had conducted experiments in the pursuit of nuclear weapons at a secret nuclear facility.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tehran had been developing atomic arms at a facility in Abadeh, south of the Iranian city of Isfahan. In a Twitter statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif criticized Netanyahu’s claim, suggesting the US and Israel are seeking  war with Iran.

US President Donald Trump said on Monday he would meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and that he would have no problem with such an encounter. He told reporters at the White House that Iran should straighten out because frankly, he said, they are in a very bad position right now.
