In his address, the Deputy Head of the Vietnam National Assembly’s Committee for Legal Affairs Le Minh Thong said it was necessary to fine-tune legal documents on communications in the digital era in order to promote democracy in conformity with each nation’s characteristics. He stressed the importance of strengthening information exchanges and cooperation as well as technical support in order to use communications media properly thus promoting democracy and ensuring cyber security and safety.
