The IOM and the Department of Social Vices Prevention and Combat under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) have completed a series of mid-term evaluation workshops for the implementation of the Human Trafficking Prevention and Control Program for 2021-2025 held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the workshop in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday, Park affirmed that IOM will continue to collaborate with the MOLISA and its partners to achieve the goals of preventing and combating human trafficking, including supporting victims, researching and testing models and services for reintegration support in order to maximize existing resources and address specific needs of vulnerable migrants.
Participants reviewed the coordination in supporting victims of human trafficking in 2021 – 2023, and discussed areas that need to be further promoted in the next period of the Human Trafficking Prevention and Control Program.
