(VOVworld) – An international workshop was held in Hanoi on Saturday to mark the 250th birth anniversary of great poet Nguyen Du (1765-2015).

At the event, Dinh The Huynh, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Education and Communications Commission, said the celebration is part of specific and practical activities to preserve and promote traditional cultural values for the demand of sustainable development of the country. Mr. Huynh expressed his hope that scientists will continue exploring more values in Nguyen Du’s cultural heritages.
