Artists display their skills by weaving silk in an art show during the opening ceremony of the festival.

80 artisans from craft villages nationwide will attend the 3-day festival. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of Quang Nam provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: "The best way to promote Quang Nam’s silk brand is to restore mulberry growing villages and connect them with other villages inside and outside the country. It’s necessary for Vietnam to join international associations and organize seminars, conferences, and festivals to promote the silk brands of Quang Nam and Vietnam."
