Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung highlighted milestone achievements in the development of ASEAN, saying member nations are well aware of their opportunities and challenges and are working together to build a strong community and boost their economies.
Dr. Nguyen Vu Tung, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, praised the unifying role of ASEAN amidst the turmoils in the Asia-Pacific region.The seminar’s agenda was: review ASEAN’s achievements in 50 years; assess the current opportunities and challenges of ASEAN; propose ways to build the ASEAN community and generate policy recommendations.
