High on the agenda were economics and business, development and sustainability, and resources and global transformation. Experts called for effective solutions to address climate change as Vietnam is one of countries hardest hit by climate change, which will slowdown socio-economic growth.
Nguyen Truc Le, rector of the Hanoi University of Economics and Business, said: “Global climate change will surely effect the world economy, including Vietnam. Vietnam must allocate huge resources to respond to climate change and have a common voice in assessing how climate change affects the global economy.”
