(VOVworld) – An international scientific workshop on the development of Vietnam’s energy market took place on Friday, with representatives from ministries, sectors and research institutes participating.

The participants discussed a scientific basis for the markets and policies to develop energy prices in the socialist oriented market economy, its achievements and inadequacies in energy price fixing. Proposals on building policies and mechanisms to work out energy prices were also made, in an effort to stabilize Vietnam’s economy.
