(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in cooperation with the UNDP and GIZ, the German Agency for International Cooperation, organized a conference on building a draft report for the Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC).
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha said Vietnam is enhancing the compilation of its INDC to fulfill Vietnam’s obligations and integrate with its national interests.
The compilation process will have the involvement of all relevant agencies and foreign development partners.
Participants discussed the contents and forms of Vietnam’s INDC including contributions to climate change response, enhancing the capacity to receive and transfer technology, and coordination mechanisms between ministries and sectors.
