In a statement on Wednesday, the US and Russia said the first meeting will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Saturday, followed by another talk in London a day later. US Secretary of State John Kerry, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and foreign ministers from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar will attend the Lausanne meeting.
