Sarraj said in a televised speech that his government has extended their hands towards peace, he will find strengthen its capacity and firmness, following aggression taken by forces of Haftar and his declaration of war against the capital.
The same day, the Tunisian Defense Minister said Tunisia has tightened security in the southeastern border to prepare for escalating armed disputes in Libya. French President Emmanuel Macron discussed with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres by phone the situation in Libya. Both sides underscored a political solution for Libya’s crisis and France will support the UN’s intermediary role.
