At the launch, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc said digital transformation in education creates unprecedented opportunities to enhance teaching and learning quality, reform educational methods, personalize learning pathways, and expand access to knowledge for all citizens.
To ensure the movement's success, the entire education sector will prioritize key tasks, particularly in strengthening digital skills training and scientific research activities for students.
Phuc said: “In preschools and primary education, we need to focus on initiatives that apply digital technology in management and teaching activities. In secondary education, we will focus on solutions to boost STEM education and career orientation, along with digital skills training. For vocational and higher education, scientific and technological research activities will be encouraged, along with the development of online learning products, upgrading open online education platforms, and providing free knowledge on science, technology, innovation, digital skills, and basic digital technologies to the public and businesses.”
During the conference, representatives from various departments and educational institutions shared experiences, initiatives, and practical solutions, expressing strong determination to spread the spirit of innovation and digital transformation to every teacher, student, and citizen nationwide.
