He noted that the increasing importance of information and communication comes with more pressures for the sector, as it not only involves new fields such as AI, which requires modern approaches and knowledge, but also the management of the “soft power” - the media.

Mr. Quang suggested the sector enhance its competitiveness in multimedia, and helps journalists improve their livelihoods. He affirmed that the Government, ministries, sectors, and localities will accompany the information and communication sector in fulfilling its tasks.
