(VOVworld) – The 2nd Ministerial Meeting on Crime Prevention and Control concluded on Tuesday in Da Lat City, Lam Dong province, with pledges to enhance security and co-operation between Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.

The ministers issued a joint statement which laid down guidelines for further co-operation between their security forces. The joint statement indicated that the three countries would improve co-ordination in resolving issues relating to ensuring security and order at border regions and citizens living in other countries. It also said that the police forces would increase their information and share exchanges as well as co-operation in tackling and preventing any kind of crime, including attacks against the traditional ties of friendship between Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
