(VOVworld)- President Tran Dai Quang has praised the TATA Group CEO in Vietnam for his contributions to expanded investment in Vietnam.

During his reception for CEO Indronil Sengupta in Hanoi on Thursday, the President welcomed TATA’s expansion of its business in Vietnam, especially the Long Phu II thermal power plant in Soc Trang province. He expected this to open new energy cooperation projects between India and Vietnam. The President asked TATA Group and the CEO to help India become a leading investor in Vietnam. Mr. Sengupta said his group is to invest more in renewable energy, coffee processing and light truck assembly projects in southern Vietnam.
