An Indian army spokesman in Jammu said that at 5 am local time, Pakistani soldiers fired small arms and mortars at Indian posts in the Bhimber Gali sector of Poonch district, about 185 km southwest of Srinagar city, of Indian- controlled Kashmir. Indian troops retaliated with similar weapons.
