(VOVworld) – The second business forum of CLMV countries of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and India concluded in New Delhi, India on Friday.

During the 2-day meeting, participants agreed a number of key recommendations involving in simplifying administrative procedures for visa licensing for citizens from CLMV countries, encouraging Indian travelers to visit CLMV countries, boosting people-to-people exchanges, completing tariff agreements among parties concerned, and establishing ASEAN-India Trade and Investment Center.

Indian Deputy Foreign Minister Anil Wadhwa called on parties involved to make every effort to raise the relations between the CLMV countries and India to a new height. He expressed his hope the highway linking Myanmar, India, and Thailand which is under construction and will extend to Vietnam will create favorable conditions for the transportation of goods along the route.

In separate meetings with India, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Do Thang Hai, head of the Vietnamese delegation, and Vietnamese Ambassador to India, Ton Sinh Thanh, said Vietnamese and Indian businesses will enjoy more opportunities to work with each other because the two economies are strongly developing and supported by policies in favor of investment attraction. During the international integration, both nations are becoming major markets for the two business communities to tap.
