They praised Vietnam’s role in India’s Look East policy. In his address, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh said Vietnam treasures its traditional friendship and strategic partnership with India and supportes India’s Look East policy. The Ambassador urged India to work closely with ASEAN, support ASEAN’s role and participate in the East Asia Summit. He asked India to support ASEAN and China in implementing the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea and accelerating the signing of the Code of Conduct of Parties in the East Sea.
