A representative of the Indian Ministry of Defense said the operation was non-escalatory and no Pakistani military facilities were targeted.

"India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution," the Indian defense ministry said in a statement.

The Indian Defense Ministry reaffirmed India’s commitment to holding those responsible for the April 22 attack accountable.

In response, Pakistan strongly condemned the strikes and declared that it  reserved the right to respond appropriately to Indian aggression.

According to preliminary reports, the airstrikes killed at least three civilians, including one child, and injured 14 others.

Pakistani authorities are continuing to assess the full extent of the damage and have promised further updates once investigations are complete.

A state of emergency has been declared in hospitals, and Pakistan has temporarily closed its airspace.
