Memorandums of Understanding were signed by the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday. These projects are among 26 quick-impact projects funded by India in 22 Vietnamese localities, 13 of which have already been completed.
At the signing ceremony, Indian Ambassador Pranay Verma said development cooperation is a pillar of the India-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership. Their fine traditional relationship has been a successful model of institutional support and capacity improvement in various fields over years, which has benefited top research centers, including the Mekong Delta Rice Research Institute.
