54 years ago, the US marines raided My Lai of Son My village and killed 504 innocent, unarmed civilians, including many old people, women, and children. They burnt down hundreds of houses, food, and all crops. The massacre shocked the world leaving great pain and losses.
Son My village has become a historical site which draws a large number of domestic and foreign tourists every year.
