Hue Festival 2014 features diversified art genres

(VOVworld) – A dance festival, a recreation of ancient villagers’ folk games and crafts, and an Ao dai (long Vietnamese dress) show opened on Monday at the Hue Festival 2014. On Sunday, thousands of spectators at the Hue Imperial Citadel were delighted by the display of traditional and modern costumes from various Asian countries in the “Oriental Night Show”. A performance of Ao dai kicked off the show which was held in a splendid space inside the palace.

Tran Ngoc Quang, a Hue resident, said: “I was impressed by the performances from Malaysia, Thailand, and India. I noticed that many of the models attending the Oriental Night Show were beauty queens.”

100 Vietnamese models along with those from other 11 Asian countries were present at the Oriental Night Show.
