32 photos, documents, and other items will describe the origin and meaning of Vietnam’s official names in different historical periods, for example: Dai Viet during the Ly, Tran, and Le dynasties, Viet Nam during King Gia Long’s reign, and Dai Nam during King Minh Menh’s reign.

The week-long exhibit celebrates Vietnam Cultural Heritage Week and the 19th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Hoi An as a world cultural heritage.
