Hoi An, a UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site, came third on the list. Thrillist noted that good accommodation in the city costs 300 USD a month, 500 USD a month for higher-end accommodation. Located in the central province of Quang Nam, Hoi An boasts many temples, pagodas, and old houses. The city was a leading trading port in Southeast Asia in the 17th and 18th centuries.
