 Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate Ho Guom (Sword Lake) Theater

The theater, an ideal destination for the public to enjoy the art, is connected with cultural, historical and architectural landmarks around Hoan Kiem Lake, creating a cultural complex in the heart of Hanoi capital.
At the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his excitement, saying culture is the soul and pride of the nation, the endogenous strength, the spiritual foundation, and the driving force for development.

According to the Prime Minister, the investment in the construction of Ho Guom Theater shows the special interest of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi People's Committee in culture, implementing the guidelines of the Party and State on culture and arts, and building Hanoi capital of civilization and modernity.
He asked the Ministry of Public Security to manage the theatre’s operation in a scientific and effective manner, focus on exchanges and cooperation with domestic and international theaters so that this newly-built cultural institution can successfully fulfill its political tasks and deliver high-quality art and cultural programs.
