The project, carried out by a joint venture of Accelerated Infrastructure Capital (AIC), an international investor with experience in developing and operating data centers, Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (KBC) and other partners, will make Ho Chi Minh City the first locality in Vietnam to build an AI Data Center.

The AI Data Center, designed according to high technical standards, is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Its first phase will develop an AI factory with a capacity of up to 50MW (total IT load/GPU), including 28,000 graphics processing units (GPUs). The project is oriented towards providing computing power to meet the needs of AI and high-performance computing for domestic and international customers, as well as Vietnam's own AI needs.

It aims to build a modern, internationally standardized data infrastructure; promote research and application of AI, and contribute to forming an innovation ecosystem, R&D, and digital economy in Ho Chi Minh City.

On this occasion, representatives of the municipal Department of Science and Technology and AIC Company signed a memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation in developing the AI Data Center.
