(VOVworld)- Ho Chi Minh City hopes to strengthen tourism cooperation with Kansai in particular and Japan in general. At a meeting with Toshizo Ido, Governor of Hyogo Prefecture and Chairman of the Union of Kansai Governments on Saturday, Chairman of HCM City’s People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan highlighted the development of Vietnam-Japan strategic partnership. Quan praised Japanese people and enterprises, who are living and working in Ho Chi Minh city, for their contribution to local development. Quan said he hoped that Ho Chi Minh City will receive more tourists from Kansai and that Japanese partners will attend the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair which is held annually in September.
