(VOVworld) - Foreign experts proposed ideas to help Ho Chi Minh City become a a smart city at a workshop on Wednesday.

The experts from Japan, Singapore, Israel, the Republic of Korea, and Taiwan (China), focused on transportation, health care, education, environmental protection, food safety, and start-ups. They pointed out that most Vietnamese cities don’t yet have a general system of information exchange. Experts said a smart city is where information is collected from different resources to forecast the future, and help municipal authorities make decisions.
