The high-level week will continue until Tuesday, and the debate will run until Friday.

This year's high-level week has nine conferences with the participation of 150 heads of state and heads of government.

On Wednesday, the UN organized a high-level dialogue on finance for development at which countries assessed the implementation of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda adopted in 2015, which aims to mobilize financial resources for sustainable development and align financial and policy streams with economic, social, and environmental priorities.
UN Secretary General Guterres will chair a Climate Action Summit, where he will urge the international community, governments, and businesses to accelerate efforts to tackle the climate change crisis. The ultimate goal is to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and limit global warming to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius.

This year’s high-level week includes a high-level meeting on health and a Future Summit.
