Lebanese parliament speaker Nabih Berri informed Qatar and Egypt that Hezbollah has agreed to "divide fronts" and implement resolution 1701 on condition that the settling of the conflict in Lebanon is part of the peace initiatives of the Gaza Strip.

On the same day, Lebanon lodged a new complaint with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) in response to Israeli attacks on its territory from October 15 to October 24.

In its complaint, Lebanon strongly condemned Israel's continued incursions and military actions, citing the killing of civilians, destruction of civilian infrastructure, and targeted attacks on border villages.

In its appeal, Lebanon asked the Security Council to pressure Israel to fully implement resolution 1701, starting with an immediate cessation of military actions.

Meanwhile, the exchange of shelling between Israel and Hezbollah continues. The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that at least 21 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on three areas in the south of Lebanon.

The Israeli government said that its northern areas were also hit by shelling from Lebanon, but most of them were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas.
